Region 8 CC Presents: Dual Credit Webinar

Region 8 Comprehensive Center is hosting a webinar to discuss Dual Credit in Indiana, particularly dual credit in rural school districts. The Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL) will share highlights and recommendations from a recent effort to study Indiana’s dual credit teacher pipeline. We will also learn about CELL’s Early College High School Endorsement Initiative. As well, we will hear from leaders from Logansport Community School Corporation and Rising Sun Schools to highlight successful dual credit programs in two very different rural school settings. Logansport Community School Corporation, a larger rural district, has a high Hispanic population and Rising Sun Schools is a very small district that provides a wide variety of dual credit opportunities for students. We are excited to have you join us for this unique look at dual credit in Indiana.  

About the Region 8 Comprehensive Center

The Region 8 Comprehensive Center (CC) is one of 19 Regional CCs in the CC Network that provides high-quality, intensive capacity-building technical assistance to clients from state, regional, and local educational agencies and schools in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Region 8 CC staff serve clients by helping to identify, implement, and sustain effective evidence-based programs, practices, and interventions that support improved educator and student outcomes. Through these capacity-building services, Region 8 CC staff help agency staff improve educational outcomes for all students, close achievement gaps, and improve the quality of instruction.
